What A Great Idea! Other Walks:

WALK AWAY FROM THAT ROYAL WEDDING:

There are some great walks around Wales, why not make the long wedding weekend a weekend for a long walk away from it all, here's some great Welsh Walks for you to consider:

* Glyndwr Way.

Glyndŵr's Way - National Trails

In fact I would suggest this possibly be the main patriotic choice could be the Glyndwr Way, if 100's of Patriots in Political, Community or family groups all carrying Baneri Glyndwr could get out for the weekend walking at least parts of this walk then that could be great Agit - Prop Protest Activity especially if fotos and film of such is put up on web. Note two areas to focus on re this walk would be Mynydd Pumlumon/Mynydd Hyddgen and Vyrnwy regards following 'Land & Liberty' Issues:

Also Glyndwr way passes by Vyrnwy, great for weekend stop over to explore one, two or more of those Seven Rivers, see below link:

A great Agit - Prop patriotic walk with practical purpose would be if one group of Patriots started walking from the North and another group from the South, joined by others enroute and all met up in the middle, say in area of Clun

There is an opportunity here for perhaps organisation of a Weekend School on subject of Medieval Marcher Anglo - Norman - Welsh Border Wars, noting that Clun Castle was attacked by the Lord Rhys ap Gruffydd and Owain Glyndwr. Further in 1263 there was the Battle of Clun which I will have to search out more information on some time. The Clun area was of course once Welsh Territory and for much of Medieval Wales was associated with Maelienydd, so keep this in mind and clue up on our Stolen Welsh Lands - Y Blaenau Diroedd.

WALES BEATS THE RETREAT 2011? FROM THE WATERS OF VYRNWY TO THE GRASS OF THE BRECON ESTATE, WELSH PATRIOTS ARE TRAMP! TRAMP! TRAMPING TO NO WHERE FAST?

Though that's not completly true, Plaid Nats are at last on the street leafleting for that Assembly whilst Lords Thomas and Wiggley are busy shopping for their Wedding Outfits no doubt. Plus Plant Crachach are busy causing a nuisence of themselves annoying the Tories with pasting posters on Constituency Offices, I guess Wales waits for all that Xmas food to pass before protest comes to mind?
